So let's start off with the start of the Pandemic, for all of us this really changed most of our lives from personal to financial and daily jobs.
So as most in Ontario Canada, were we live march was the day we were sent home because of the situation in the world. At first it was fantastic as my wife ended up working from home and never missed a day so a steady income was still flowing for us. I know this was not the case for many and i know this was rough for you, I'm sorry!
This for me was a opportunity to get some work done around the home we wanted to do for the last 5 years. Also got to wake up and have coffee and breakfast with the Mrs everyday. Now not the main issue but our sex life and lifestyle flatlined. Sure it was partly the unknown future and oh did i mention 2 of our 3 children were not living with us 24/7.
So as you can guess no private time for adult play, no place to disappear or go to, so it was great family time focus which we both love. Then came September.
So my job called me and wanted me to come in an talk, as i was there for over 20 years. The meeting was about as we were part of the tourism industry and it was looking like it was not going to be bouncing back anytime soon they wanted to place me in another part of the company as not to loose me.
But it ended i was offered a great new opportunity with better pay and challenges, so i quit and was a great decision for sure.
Then December came and changed our family/home life for ever. Early in that month the Mrs. got word her mom passed away peacefully but suddenly one morning! And was not expected as she was supposed to be released that week. So that ruined the upcoming Christmas a bit, but we (our household only) managed to due a tribute as we all talked about some of our past favorite memories of her.
